Heartbeat Highschool: Solo Journaling Dating Simulation Roleplaying Game

Heartbeat Highschool is a solo journaling dating simulation roleplaying game. In Heartbeat Highschool, you play a 17 year old high school senior who has moved to a new American high school in a new town in the late 1990s. You have schoolwork, a part time job with flexible hours, and several dating partners who are vying for your attention. Can you find your one true love and graduate high school before the end of the year?

 

At the beginning of a week, you'll roll a pool of d6s equal to your Health Stat. This is your Activity Pool. On normal weekdays, you can assign the dice in your Activity Pool to an Activity, such as studying, working out, going to work, or engaging in a hobby. On weekends or some holidays, you can do an Activity, make a phone call, or go on a date. When the dice in your pool are 6s, you can level up your stats, making you more attractive to potential Dating Partners.

When you go on dates, your assigned dice will become its own dice pool, which you then get to compare against your stats. If your rolls match your stats, the date goes well, and your Hearts with a Dating Partner increase. You're that much closer to true love!
