Artifact Wooden Puzzles - John Frederick Lewis - House in Cairo

$67.99

This 205 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle brings alive the 1873 painting A Lady Receiving Visitors in the Mandarah of a House in Cairo by the famed British adventurer, John Frederick Lewis, who lived some years in Cairo. The painting features his pet gazelle!

The puzzle is a average hard with Egypt themed whimsy pieces, Cairo-pentagonal piece shapes, straight edge, and diverse fancy connectors that echo themes in the stained glass windows of the lovely house. Puzzle design by Marcelle Jay Iremedio.

Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from thick 1/4" thick wood.

Made in the USA (specifically, in Port Townsend, Washington).

Packaged in a blue box with a small picture of the image on top, and a side label.
