Two Player Games
One of the most frequent questions we get asked is “Are there games for just two people?” The answer is a resounding yes! Many people think of board and card games as a group activity and they certainly are that, but don’t let that thinking prevent you from enjoying some great gaming experiences with a good friend or spouse.
In some ways two-player games are some of the most elegantly designed games of all. Many games try to accommodate three, four, five players or more by adding variations to the rules. With a specifically two-player game, the designers only have to think about one possible player count and can make their game work best at that number of players.
We have an entire section devoted to two-player games, most of which hit the sweet spot of easy-to-learn combined with deep and engaging play and about a half an hour play time. This makes them a perfect alternative after dinner activity to watching television, or a stimulating pastime to do over your lunch break. Come by and pick our brains and we’ll be happy to show you some of our favorites, such as our best selling card game Lost Cities, the chess-like Onitama, or the tension-filled 7 Wonders: Duel. And don't take our word for it - try before you buy with our extensive Demo Library.
